RELEASING THE FIRE WITHIN.

Acts 6:4;

"But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word."

Key Message: Your relevance and attainment in the kingdom depends on your commitment to discover and impact the world with the abilities that are within you.

John the Baptist was a baptizer by water to repentance. Jesus is a baptizer of the Holy Ghost. The appearance of the Holy Ghost in the Upper Room was as like cloven tongues of fire. Acts 2:3. Before the pentecost, John had already introduced Jesus as one who baptized with unique abilities.

John testified to this  in Matthew 3:11; "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:"

The presence of the Holy Ghost must be accompanied with His fire. Anywhere the Holy Ghost goes fire must go there because it takes the fire of the Holy Ghost to impact the world. Men of fire are men of impact and they are containers of divine deposition to refine, remold and impact destiny.

The early religious leaders exclaimed concerning the Apostles that they have filled Jerusalem with their doctrine. Every attempt to stop them remained fruitless because no one can block the way against fire.

Everything Jesus did which was also done by the early Apostles, we are not expected to do the less if we  commit ourselves to the things they do. The more they commit themselves to prayer and the ministry of the word, the more the fire within them kept rising until they became unstoppable.

The fire within Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego was powerful than the fiery furnace set against them. It is has never been known before that time that fire can consume fire until they came out from the fiery furnace unhurt.

You see, there is great ability within every believer waiting for expression. The altar of prayer is the spiritual platform for generating the Holy Ghost fire by partnering with Holy Ghost to pray through.

Men of fire are dangerous men with tongue of fire. Your fervency and consistency on the prayer altar, meditation and acting the Word is what translates to the release of fire within. 

ASSIGNMENT

Spare time to pray kingdom advancement prayer for an hour everyday and meditate on the scripture.

 PRAYER

Father, strengthen me to be committed to spiritual activities that will transform me from being ordinary man to an extraordinary carrier of the fire of the Holy Ghost.
