DEALING WITH THIS KIND.

Mark 9:28-29;

"And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And he said unto them, THIS KIND can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting."

Key Message: There are mountains that won't give away and barriers that will refuse to clear off until our level of spiritual authority changes.

There are jurisdictions in the realm of the spirit. What bows to you is determined by what you bow to. You can't issue authority if you're not under authority. The seven sons of Sceva in Acts 19:14-16 were victims of demonic harassment because they grossly violated the spiritual jurisdiction principle.

Certain predicaments will keep persisting until you consciously engage some spiritual principles that will enhance your spiritual authority.

Assuming Jesus didn't come on time the disciples will continue to struggle with the deaf and dumb spirit and the religious people will keep mocking them.

Before this time, they had been dealing with demons on regular basis. For instance they returned in joy with a fascinating testimony on how the demon was made subject to them through the name of Jesus in Luke. 10:18.

However the story was not the same with there encounter with the deaf and dumb spirit. Jesus' response on the reason why they couldn't cast the demon out made us to understand that certain situations of life will remain the same until our spiritual approach changes.

This kind means peculiar challenges that requires specific directions and higher authority. Jesus didn't say they were not able to cast it out. They were able but not capable. He then recommended prayer and fasting as a prerequisite to enable and augment their abilities.

Our level of spiritual authority changes by engaging the altar of prayer with vast spiritual understanding. Prayer and fasting is the kingdom mandate of enhancing higher dimensions of spiritual authority. Anytime our authority changes, impossible becomes possible. Mountains depart and situations turnaround for good. That will be your experience this season in Jesus name.

ASSIGNMENT

Join the ongoing prayer and fasting in your Church to enhance your spiritual stamina.

PRAYER

Father, strengthen me to take spiritual responsibility early so as not to become a liability in life.
