OVERCOMING PRAYER INFIRMITY

1 Thessalonians 5:17;

"Pray without ceasing."

Key Message: Anytime we stop praying we are bound to experience spiritual miscarriages.

The medical experts have made us to understand that the first twelve weeks of pregnancy in a woman is known as the first trimester. It is a very sensitive period. It is within this period the fertilized eggs grows to become an embryo. It is always  advised that the pregnant woman should stay healthy within this duration.

Something inexplicably usually begins to take form when we start praying. Prayer is an act of communion or union between us and the God-head. We pray to the Father in the name of Jesus and we are empowered to pray right by the help of the Holy Ghost.

The outcome of the union between Mary and Holy Ghost was Jesus which is also called Wonderful. We are not expected to give birth to anything less than that anytime we come in contact with the Holy Ghost on the altar of prayer.

Lack of continuity in unionism is what usually leads to miscarriages. Apostle Paul instructed us by the Holy Ghost to pray without ceasing. 

Anytime we quit praying, the spiritual substance that has been formed in us stops growing and subsequently leads to miscarriages.

The only way we can function effectively in the kingdom is by prayer. Immediately Jesus was baptized by the Holy Ghost, the scripture says the Spirit drove him to the wilderness to pray and fast for forty days. You see, if the Holy Ghost in you does not drive you to the place of prayer, I wonder the kind of Holy Ghost you have.

The purpose of the Holy Ghost baptism is to open to the supernatral, dimensions of the Spirit to enhance our prayer life. When He stepped in for the first time at the Pentecost, the Apostles became masters of prayer.

The Holy Ghost himself is the only cure for prayer infirmity. You need to seek for his help to heal your infirmity and rekindle the fire on your prayer altar. You can only do this genuinely if you have repented from all know sins in your life. I pray the Lord will restore you back to the place of prayer.

ASSIGNMENT

Confess and forsake all known sins in your life in the name of Jesus and pray often in the language of the Spirit everyday. In addition, acquaint yourself to the environment where prayer is hot so as to cut away the spirit of prayerlessness.

PRAYER

Father, by the Holy Ghost heal me of any prayer infirmity and rekindle my fire.

Receive the life of the Spirit to live above all infirmities. Your mortal body is quickened right now by the power of the Holy Ghost in you. Your spiritual strength and dignity shall be restored in Jesus name.
